Flow Pack FL540 with Dual-Chamber Shrink Tunnel

Line for packaging profiles in heat-shrink polyethylene film, comprising a Flow Pack Mod. FL540 packaging machine, a product discharge system, a dual-chamber shrink tunnel and a box changeover system. It incorporates EIDOS printing and labelling devices, motorised handling and remote assistance.

Flow Pack PBB Box Motion Poly Packaging Machine

• Cantilever frame with a textured RAL 9005 paint finish, with product infeed on the right and outfeed on the left in the configuration described.
• Special product timing infeed conveyor, 2200 mm long.
• Universal forming tunnel with manual adjustment and reference marks.
• Servo-driven conveyor beneath the wheels, 200 mm wide.
• Longitudinal belt feed unit, with a Teflon-coated sealing wheel and feed via rubber-coated wheels or small belts.
• Servo-driven TC travelling unit with a 300 mm stroke.
• Pneumatically operated TC closing unit, with a maximum opening of 250 mm and sealing via a Teflon-coated heated bar with a pressure pad.
• Pneumatic expanding reel shaft, 76 mm in diameter, for a maximum film width of 560 mm.
• Inverter-controlled reel drive with feedback from a dancer roller fitted with a 0–10 V potentiometer.
• Inverter-controlled outfeed conveyor, 200 mm wide.

Printing and product discharge

• Product discharge system with bypass function and an X-Z pneumatic cylinder.

Shrink tunnel

• Dual-chamber tunnel, 600 mm wide and 400 mm high.
• Twin inverter-controlled fans.
• Reinforced heating elements with a total power rating of 24 kW.
• Roller conveyor with silicone tubing sleeves and optional roller rotation.
• Inverter-controlled conveyor with a usable width of 500 mm.
• Temperature controllers in both zones to vary the shrink effect.

Box changeover system

• Floor-level infeed roller conveyor, 200 mm high, measuring 1000 × 2000 mm, with photocells.
• Outfeed roller conveyor measuring 1000 × 2000 mm.
• Tunnel outfeed belt conveyor measuring 200 × 1500 mm.
• Platform with a guillotine gate for multiple-product discharge.
• X-Z pneumatic diverter.
• Motorised roller conveyor with an integrated lift, height-adjustable from 200 to 800 mm.
• EIDOS print-and-apply labeller for in-motion application.
• 90° transfer pusher positioned beneath the roller conveyor.
• Non-powered box accumulation roller conveyor measuring 500 × 2000 mm, with a full-capacity photocell.
